Every year a wide diversity of sport, music and cultural events take place in Borovets, Samokov and the region, which make a perfect addition to your holiday in the mountain.

Every summer the popular folklore festival "Magic of Rila Mountain" takes place in Borovets in June.

In August the mountain fills up with positive vibes and lots of rock with the traditional rock fest BoroRock!

Of course the summer calendar is full of sports events, such as extreme downhill championships at Borovets Mountain Bike Park, mountain running races and many others.

In 2016 Borovets and hotel Rila were hosting the international yoga festival UDAYA LIVE, gathering more than 700 participants, more than 40 famous teachers and musicians from around world.
