Jazz Fest

Borovets will host the International Jazz Festival in honor of Dr. Emil Iliev, 5-9 August. For the first time since 1998 the 25th edition of the festival will be held in front of the Rila Hotel in Borovets. The festival has become emblematic for the jazz music fans in Bulgaria and a favourite place for many Bulgarian and foreign stars.

The organizers, led by Dr. Tatyana Ilieva, have prepared a varied program with the participation of jazz, funk, reggae, ragtime and blues performers from Bulgaria and abroad, whose virtuoso performances you will get to enjoy in the cool August evenings in Rilа mountain  among the centuries-old pine forests.

FESTIVAL ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM

Every night after the end of the concerts the music festival will continue with a jam session in the night club “After 11” of the Rila Hotel. Nadia Toncheva and her talented musicians will lead , while the guest artists will join them in the jam session.
